She has served on various selection committees including MEA Teacher of the Year, Frank Premack Journalism Award, Warren Burger Scholarship Committee, and Rhodes Scholar Selection Committee (Minnesota chair 1986-87).
Other Teaching and Lecturing Activities:
Frequent lecturer on judicial and legal education, including appellate advocacy seminars, Minnesota Constitution seminars, housing law seminars, Robert A. Taft Institute of Government Seminar, National Practice Institute, American Judicature Society, Minnesota Administrators Academy, Center for International Leadership. Judge Lansing has received distinguished service awards from Macalester College, the University of Minnesota Law School, the St. Paul Jaycees, and the Y.W.C.A.
